Wow! look who is in the picture! hehe.. yup, sometimes our eyes can be deceiving,but in this case, u have to believe it.. hm..nevermind..
Talking about the man wearing the sunglasses, he was quite famous at that moment..Some of you may hate him, some may not..

who is he?? If you aware of our music industry in Malaysia, then easily you will notice him. He is the vocalist of HUJAN band. His name is NOH...

In this picture, one of my best buddies, Ariff aka BOBO is standing beside him. Both of them wear baju Melayu..Noh looks quite cute with his sunglasses. Maybe he cannot stand with the shiny sun at the back.. His hair is different from the early appearance. In this picture, he looks younger than he was. Why? maybe because of his new hair cut and, his pinky baju melayu.. However, he looks tired and warm, maybe because there is no air-conditioner but only the fans..Bobo, his smile is cute. Maybe because being captured with one of the famous indie band's vocalist! By the way, you look so innocent with your yellow matric card. hehe..


The photo was being taken by me. That was on friday, when The Art students held "the career motivation" at the INTEC HALL, Uitm, Section 17. Noh came as a guest artist on the day, with his bassist, AG. They played three songs on that afternoon, "HIBA", "AKU MAHU KAU TAHU" and their famous song, "PAGI YANG GELAP".
Many students were coming on the proggrame. Me and my friends also came, not because of the proggrame, but more to watch his shows. By the way, the programme was not for the TESL students. We just came to make sure the hall is fully attend by the students.
On the day, not only Noh and his bassist came to Uitm. There were also IMUDA and the other famous artist. All of them talking about the art and how to success as a good artist. However, the most thing that all the students waited for is the presence of Hujan band.
Back to the photo, it had been taken just after he done his performance and the proggrame was over. He went out from the hall. As usual, all his fans gathered him along his way to the canopy. Me and Bobo wait till the crowd gone. We need to wait for it so long. Even during his meal, the crowd still there. Hmm, as the watch shown 12.30 o'clock, we decided to went near him and just take a snap. we asked others to wait at the back, and the photo being taken successfully... Just after then, we leave the hall and went back home.

Books-belong to me...

My parents started buy me a collection of fairy-tales books since i was young. At first, I just lookin at the pictures in the books. Only after a few years, i started read them.

I still can remember, the books that i got from my standard three english teacher-Mrs Baldip singh Kaur. She gaves me Bicycle magic because of my achievement in her classes..And starts from that moment, i've read lots of the Enid Blyton's collection. I also read Sherlock Holmes series. That was when i at younger ages.

By the way, the most memorable books are the Sidney Sheldon's collection. I should gives a thousand of thanks to my cousin, Kak Lyn. When I came to her house in Taman Kemensah, She brought me to her room. She knews that i love to see the books collection. So, she showed me her collection. There were lots of books in her room. But, my interest was only the sidney sheldon's novel, Morning, night and noon.. I asked her about the book, and she said that the novel was one of her favourite book and she loved to let me read it. I just say nothing.I smiled to her. I putted the novel back on her table. By the way, before i left, she gave the book to me, and that makes me suprised. She said, read and keep it. I took the book and read it when reach home.

From the book, i could see the western lifestyle. other than that, in the novel, lots of view i could see. I think, i love the way sidney wrote the novel. After morning, noon, and night, I also read the other books. And some of the books are related for example the name of the characters. dana evans is the favourite character. It occurs on the other sidney's books. The book have included the South Asia like Arab Saudi. So in the novel, the other perspective of western people is viewed as being nice to the arabic people. Kemal, the muslim ypung boy, which has lose his hand, was adopted by dana evans has her son. She treat him very kindly, and some of her friends also treat him n the same way.. However, some of people cannor accept what she does, and hate Kemal as much as they can because of the political issues and religion.

So, this book give me lots of experience and during my teenage age, i think this novel is good for my knowledge eventhough there are some of the adults part included.

L, Lawliet- Live in Loneliness

One lonely evening, I logged on to crunchyroll website. Hoping that there is a movie that I can watching it online. I love romantic-comedy movie, but only from west film production. Asian? I am also one of the Asian-movies fan, but only for the horror and thriller genre. And so, there are lots of horror-thriller movies in the list. Which movie i chose on the evening? The lucky Death Notes caught up my eyes. And, from that time and onwards, i identified myself as L die-hard-fan. For all the day along, i,ve been watching it repeatedly. Slowly I deeply,madly attracted to him. Such a crazy girl, i smiled to myself whenever I think of him. The way he dressed up, he walk, talk and behave, are so adorable. L, or Lawliet, is the most strange and weird character that I've ever watched and falling in love with. It is like fell in love at first sight. I love psycic and mysterious things. Because of my intention on all kinds of investigation, easily i've been attracted to L.



L is illustrated as the super detective, he works alone with his respectful partner, Watari. Mostly, detective is created as an older and full-experienced man. Differ to him, L is a young adult, with the very genious and have the talent to solve any crime or investigation. Death Notes got the good feedback from the audience because of L's character. Why am I so adored him?
I am not so sure. But i love to mimicry his way when holding something. He just used his two fingers and it looks so cute. His white plain face shows no feeling and we cannot read what is really on his mind. All about him is so odd. The way he sit on the chair, is quiet unussual. To him, it is good to sit like the way he sat because it could help his think much more better. How ridiculous but acceptable, just because of him.

L, loves sweet foods. That is how it differ from other character. I wish to eat the way he ate. All kind of sweets he takes, I just love them. Too much sweets could give the bad impact. But being him, sweets is all the needs to have the brilliant brain. That's awesome right. How heaven the life is.

Till now, L still be as my favourite character ever after. No one can be as simple as him. Wearing the simple white shirt and blue jeans, he looks so cool. Nobody will assume that he is a detective. His plain face with no expression , and the dead eyes he has, makes him be so goofier.

However, his appearance in L change the world movie, make the audience feel so close to him. I could feel his feeling towards other people. In the other previous movie (death notes 1 and 2), the focus is only on the way he solved mystery. But in L change the world, as the audience, the character tearing me down. He is such a lonely young man, who has no one to comfort him, to hear his feeling. He is only has Watari, an old man aka his assistant. He is willing to sacrifice his own life, as the way to prove who is the real criminal. Eventhough he could save lots of people, but he lost Watari. He has a strong spirit. I do not know how am i feeling if i knew that im going to die 23 days later. Maybe i will just stay at home and cry out loud. But L is never do that. After he makes the sacrificed by write his name on the death note, he still try to help other people. He fill his remains of the day by going to the country affected by the dangerous virus. At there, he found so many people, especially the kids.

The kids are only the friend that he have. he gives all his best to comfort the kids. Sometimes, I could see his loving and caring face on his plain white face. He try to forgot the sadnees of losing watari, so he makes his life busy on others. However, L's character is over when he is died on 23rd day. He died in peace, holding Watari pictures, and full of loneliness.

High Fidelity Q&A...

1- What is the movie about?

the story is all about the man named Rob Gordon. He is in his thirties and his life is full of failure.. He has his own business, which is record storage.. He loves music and do propose a girl by giving her a compilation music tape... but, he is not so succeed neither in career nor relationship. He has his top five all time break up list, and most of the relationship ended being dumped by the girls. This situation makes him feel so sad and curious, so he started to find out the reasons why it happens to him very badly... First step that he takes is to call all his ex-es and try to figure out the reasons they dumped him. Most of the reasons he could find out is the girls met someone better than him..But,he did dumped one of his ex-es because she refused to make love with him( i do hate Rob in this part, it is not so called love but more to lust, he should respect her feelings)..But, other than this, he is the one who always be rejected..

Laura, the latest girlfriend left him to be with the neighbour who lives nearby.. At first, Laura is not be listed in the Top Five break up list, but suddenly he changes his mind. Slowly, he realizes that she is the special one. He couldn't take her out of his mind.. And when he tries to get her back is the interesting part of this movie.. He learns more about love then... He thinks about love seriously when his friend ask "why he wants Laura back so badly"... Both of them actually do love each other... But, people cannot satisfy everyone's needs... Sometimes, the small things could give a bad impact in the relationship.. And we only realize how much he or she is meaningful to our life just after we lose them... But still this movie has the same types of love story ending, the happy ending... Laura and Rob be together and their life is more meaningful and much much better than before...

Other than that, his shop is also getting better same as his relationship with Laura.. Rob's employers, Dick and Barry be more responsible towards the shop and working with each other as a good team at the end of the story.. At the beginning, Barry gives the mess to the shop. He is kind of selfish and annoying to people. He is one of the reasons they have no customer..But, time after time, he changes to be more useful one..Barry and Dick form the band called Sonic Monkey Band(if im not mistaken)... And start from then, the business is be more success...The friendship that occur between them makes their life be more better... So, we should learned something from each other to build a better world....

There are lots of moral values in the movie..As the title given is High Fidelity, so it does teach us to be faithful and avoid from being infidelity towards our soulmate, partner or friends.. Find our weaknesses before we put the blame on others.. do respect others..and the most important thing is dare to make a move...

2- How is it different from the common fiction?

From the starting of the movie, i could see lots of differences between this movie from the other same genre movies..The way the story go through is quite enjoyable..This movie use the hero as the narrator of the story, and this kind of approaches make the audience feel close to the character. It feels like he talks to me..So, i am eagerly to know more what happened next..Other than that, High Fidelity give a different point of view about life and relationship. Why am i saying that is because most of the common comedy romance have the typical and stereotype story line. But this movie offered the different views about love. One of them is when the hero commonly been illustrated as the strong and perfect character in most of the movies, is illustrated as the loser and desperate character build. Some people might think that a man is always have a luck in the relationship or commitment...maybe they should watch this movie and get the better figure about real life through Rob's relationship in a bad or good. Knowing how the man who almost been rejected by the women facing the problem, what did he does to discover it and how he manage to accept his weaknesses..

Watching this movie helps me to figure out the men's thoughts about some of the things. The funny and simple Rob actually have his own sentimental characteristic which we could obviously see in the movie. We could see the man crying in the rain and madly think about her ex..How is he really wants to get Laura back show how childish he is, but still acceptable and sweet.. Maybe in the real life, we do act like what he did, such as calling her at night when she is having a dinner with other man or lingering outside the house, hoping that she will comes out and see you(or maybe wants to ruin their time together because of the jealousy).

The other differences brought by this movie is the variation. Commonly, guys do approach a girl with roses or chocolates. Yes, it does a romantic gift to give but the differences could be more precious. Rob approaches his girlfriend by giving the compilation music tapes. As he loves music, he used it as a special moment to share with his soul mate..and to me, this is kinda romantic gift. For the guys out there, this movie help them to be more variable in the relationship..


3- Who is your favourite character? Why?

She is a working class person.. meaning that she is not a dependable person... She has her own principle and always follow her own intuition.. Because of this reason, i choose Laura as my favourite character..She left Rob when she thinks that he is not deserve her love..She told Liz the reasons she broke up with Rob. First, is because he slept with other girls..Secondly, She was pregnant and then did the abortion..Other than that is because Rob said that he wants to meet other girls than her..Lastly is because she feels so dissapointed when he borrowed her money just after she aborted.. This shows how irresponsble he is towards his girlfriend..

I love Laura because her feeling towards Rob is not so unclear at the beginning of the story..but when we going through the movie, we realize how deep her love is for Rob...We know that she decided to break up is because Rob not so serious in their relationship... besides that, her maturity when facing or handling some situation captured my heart the most...She do loves Rob..i could see her saying "love you" whisperly when she called him to inform that she wants to take her stuff from Rob's home back... This situation shows her egoism...She doesn't want to give him a chance as he doesn't want to change himself.. She is also good in setting up an event... Her ideas on the show come up when Rob decides to create a record label..And the show end up succesfully...

Other than that, Laura can also forgive and forget towards Rob.. She comes back to him after Rob confessed his true feeling about love.. he realizes that Laura is the one who he truly fall in love with.. The sweet moment is when she went out looking for Rob during her father's funeral...She asks him to some place and after that moment, their relationship is getting better and better...


4- Provide an alternate ending.

The ending should be still the happy ending romance story..The only difference is the way they getting back together...Maybe Rob and the journalist is having an affair...then after a couple of months, he dumped her because he realizes that he doesn't love her... Then, all of his ex-es except Laura come to him and ask him to get along with again... The dilemma occurs when he doesn't know which one to be chosen.. But at the end of the story, he couldnt forget Laura and realize how meaningful she is to him.. so, he decided to marry her and set up the event which is dedicated for Laura..However, Laura refused to accept him then and end up married with Barry, who is then turns to be a smart, understanding and caring guy..Rob feels so sad, but Penny bring happiness to him then. She is there whenever he needs someone to be with. And after a few months, both of them get married and live happily for the whole life. ...end of the story...

my new semester...

as usual, the new semester will make me feel so excited but at the same time I'm so nervous to attend the new classes and meet the new lecturers. In this semester, the courses offered challenge my teaching skills. There are so many microteachings that I need to do, and because of that, it sweat me the most.hehehe.Frankly, I'm not good at it. even though i have already in part 5, doesnt mean i can perform well in presentation. That is one of my weaknesses, people around me know about it. So, in this semester , i do hope to improve my cgpa and overcome all my weaknesses as best as i could.

the new semester means the new hope and new beginning...and of course new books to buy..lookin at my schedule, this semester is quite busy and tiring....i have three classes at night..starting at 6.50 till 8.50 pm..and as i expect, my new classes have new faces that i'm not so familiar with because i registered different classes with my friends.. so far, every classes i already attend are better than what I expect before...but still the microteaching session frightened me the most... i couldnt help my self about it because it is compulsory..so, the only thing to help my self is to improve my teaching skills and learn as much as i can.. patience is golden....=)

Literature is one of my favourite courses..i have two books to read for contemporary literature and already done it during last term break..i guess this is the bright beginning for this course.. because of my contemporary literature and creative writing classes are at night, so i do guess one of them will be lectured by Mr. Jaferi Hanafi, and yup, i am right.. for this class, Mr. Jaferi is teaching me creative writing.. and i know in his class,he will allowed the students to be as creative as they can and deliver the ideas freely as long as it is relevance to the subject.. so, as this is my first experience as a blogger, i hope i could learn, practise, and improve my writing skills by using this blog...learned a new thing in the first week..Blogging.. I think this is a good beginning for the new semester...
